The butcher’s method of turkey carving November 27, 2007

If anyone is likely to know how to get the most meat from a turkey, it would be a butcher. In this video a 3rd generation butcher shows a good tactic for carving your Christmas turkey, and for presenting it as well. I like the look of the thick slices of meat, especially as they hold together so well when cut against the grain. I might revise this and try it this Christmas, and see what my family thinks.
