Europe’s economy is definitely healthy October 11, 2007
Posted by Al in : interesting , trackbackI’m not a supporter of getting any further embroiled in Europe – definitely not to the point where national sovereignty becomes compromised. However, I do appreciate the benefits Britain has gained from being part of the world’s most powerful economic force. Taken as individual countries Britain, Germany and France would probably be in the top 20 economies in the world; but when they combine with the rest of Europe to form a powerful trading bloc, then this European Union becomes all-powerful. Providing we can reach some form of agreement with China on how much their trade is actually worth, and Russia keeps providing oil, then Europe’s power will only wax greater as America wanes slowly into the background.
