Slow Sync flash photography September 14, 2007

Here’s a clever way to use your camera, and it produces some great images as well. In slow sync flash photography you set the shutter speed to very slow, and then use a flash at the same time. This leads to images where the central figure is caught in the flash, but their movement , and the movement of the environment around them, is blurred due to the slow shutter speed. Have a look here for some nice pictures using this technique.
