Elric to be made into a movie June 9, 2007

I’m not sure whether to cheer or curse. Elric, who is Michael Moorcock’s most famous creation, is about to join the likes of Frodo, or Conan, in being a movie star. Quite how the makers of an Elric film could ever convey the troubled inner workings of this anti-hero’s mind, or his continuing addiction to Stormbringer, the sword that is both his curse and the source of his power, remains to be seen.
