I wonder firstly what they think plastic is made from, and secondly whether they’ve ever thought about it before. You’d have thought that this would have been taught in chemistry lessons in school, and that at least a reasonable proportion of people would have remembered the fact. However, it just goes to show that most people just live without thinking about what they are doing. I’d love to know if there are statistics for other countries on this.

Most people go about their lives without a notion about the environment the universe or when they are going to get their next fix from. Well maybe not most people but a small group which is growing. The way the world is goling then to be honest I do not blame them. Being a bit of a square and not buying drugs every weekend may exclude me from this conversation but I beleive that the majority of people do not know what plastic is derived from. They must think that plasitc comes from plants or something?????
