Universcale – size matters April 3, 2007

This is a nifty piece of Flash animation from Nikon. It allows you to visualise how increasing or decreasing scale by a factor of 10 can make a big difference. It also allows you a chance to get a feel for how big a virus is in comparison to a mitochondria, or how big a water flea is in comparison to a turtle. Worth a play if you’re bored.
