The 5 smallest countries in the world February 1, 2007

You knew that the Vatican City was the smallest country in the world, didn’t you? but did you know that Monaco is now the most densely populated and is less than 400 yards wide at some points? I didn’t, until I read this interesting little article. I will boast that I was aware that Tuvalu had a highest point only 16 feet above sea level though, as I remember looking the place up when it was the centre of a premium rate dial-up scam 3 years ago. It still makes good money from it’s .tv web addresses. And after seeing that picture of San Marino I would like to visit the place because it seems very dramatic.
