An underground vodka pipeline October 17, 2006

Police in Russia have finally turned off the supply to a secret underground vodka pipeline that had been smuggling home-made vodka into Latvia for an unknown length of time. By chance some land as dug up to plant trees and a stray pipeline was discovered, when it was investigated it was found to contain pure vodka. Investigations are continuing.
