Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione – stunning September 13, 2006
Posted by Al in : cool,design,motoring , trackbackSome car manufacturers manage to make cars that make you just want to own them, not necessarily to drive, but merely to have one; to be able to say “I own a thing of beauty”. Alfa Romeo have always managed to keep a certain mystique, even when they haven’t produced the best looking or most reliable cars, and recently they have produced the Brera which was stunning, in a very distinctive way. Well now they have come up with the 8C Competizione and I think this is stunning in a drop-dead gorgeous kind of way. All angles work well and it reminds me of a 60’s Ferrari (such as a Dino) crossed with a TVR – and looking at the V8 powerplant it is going to shoe-horn into such a small body that TVR comparison works well.
