Art from cut paper -very clever August 6, 2006
Posted by Al in : art,clever , trackbackI’m not sure quite how Peter Carlsen can get such a clear image in his head of a 3D object that he can then cut it out from 2D paper. But he certainly manages to cut some incredibly detailed, 3D sculptures from sheets of paper, and then he leaves them linked so that you can see where they came from. It is very, very clever and one or two of the pieces are exceptional both in their creation and, more importantly in the idea and thought that has gone into them. Have a look for yourself.
