Fun with bandwidth thieves July 28, 2006

The Internet is full of great ideas, and this is definitely one of them. If you discover your neighbour is stealing your bandwidth through your wireless network then what would you do? I know what I have done in the past is to add encryption and lock the culprit out of my connection. What this guy did is far more fun, if you have a Linux box acting as your router anyway. Just alter their Internet enough to make them not want to use your bandwidth any more.

Not often I edit a post but this article has been replied to on SlashDot and that’s worth a read too.
