Kameraflage: images only visible to silicon July 26, 2007
Posted by Al in : clever, photography , trackbackHere’s a very clever invention, and one that will surely be hitting the market by Christmas. Kameraflage is the name given to images which have extra components only visible to the CCDs in digital cameras, and not to the human eye. This means that you can place an image in public that presents one form to the human viewer, and another to a digital camera. I’m not sure if this will do any good at all, however once it becomes widespread you’ll probably see a lot more people looking at the world through the camera built into their mobile phone.
