The Atlas Powered rope Ascender – I want one June 1, 2007

This is a very cool device: the Atlas Powered Rope Ascender allows you to virtually fly up a wall in a few seconds. With speed of around 10m/s most ascends would be made in a matter of seconds, and that’s good if you’re rescuing somebody, or if you need to get to the top of a vantage point in order to survive. There are a lot of interested parties interested in the Atlas.
