Why Bush hasn’t been impeached yet May 26, 2007

Here’s an interesting article on why George W Bush has still not been impeached, when Clinton was impeached almost immediately for lying about screwing an intern. The Democrats are worried that removing such a poorly thought of Republican may result in a stronger person taking hi place, and so leading to a Republican resurgence. The public hat Bush, but they still have a burning sense of self-righteousness, which means that although they hate having troops in Iraq, they secretly approve of such moves deep down. Also, the respect of law is diminishing, which has led to people being more willing to allow obvious illegalities. So Bush, by some miracle, is likely to continue in office until the next presidential elections are complete, and the status of the USA around the world will continue to decline.
