Bestiality film shocks Cannes festival May 26, 2007

Cannes Film Festival always has some controversial film, which sparks outrage and brings the festival much needed publicity. However, this year a film about bestiality has caused more of a stir that usual, and there have been discussions about whether such a film should be allowed to be presented at Cannes. I think the film sounds a bit strange, but I can’t see any difference between allowing religious films and allowing films that express other people’s views. You can read more here, and I must add that I particularly liked the quote at the end, saying the film was a classic Western, but where the horse rode the man.
