Some people get all the luck March 21, 2007

This guy, a wannabe baseball pitcher, decides to spend $50,000 of his stupidly inflated sports star’s salary on a piece of land he bought from his great-aunt. Whilst clearing the land to build a house he came across lots of strange flat stones that turned out to be some of the most valuable stones you can find anywhere (Goshen Stone). His $50,000 plot is now worth approximately $2 Billion – which is a lot of money for doing nothing. He now owns a quarry on that piece of land, which should net him a fortune,  yet he’s still trying to play baseball.
