Comparison of Europe and the USA February 6, 2007

This is a well written, well though-out and well executed comparison of Europe and the USA, from a book reviewer comparing books on the very same subject.  I’m not ecstatically happy with the reviews, as they don’t paint the UK in the best of lights, however they do appear fair. I think it’s fair to say that under Tony Blair we have gradually shifted more towards the US than towards Europe – and I’m suddenly starting to think that the EU might be a better option than the UK going it alone. However the EU might have to stop being so silly and stop trying to regulate everything under the sun.
