The current top 100 SF books February 1, 2007

I can safely say I’ve read over half the books on this list of the top 100 SF books, and I agree with the majority of them being listed. I’m not sure about Harry Potter being included, although the SF here does stand for Speculative Fiction rather than Science Fiction, and I think if everyone had expected Lord Of The Rings to be included then it may well have ranked higher. Still, I’m really happy to see the Gene Wolfe novels riding so high – if you haven’t read these yet then feel shamed, because they are probably among the best books ever written. Go and read them now.
