The future of TV, as seen by the BBC November 28, 2006

I love the BBC. They invest well the license fee we pay them every year, and they produce some of the best quality TV in the world. What’s more they are not scared of embracing technology and the BBC is probably the best content site in the world. Once they make their programs free (to us in the UK) through their Interactive Media Player, then things will get better. And I seem to remember reading that the BBC has committed to providing all it’s content online within a reasonable timescale, including all it’s archives. Whatever the BBC decide to do I’m sure they will lead the way, and it’s good to see they are investigating the future now, rather than letting it catch them out.
