Posted by Al in : clever,design , trackbackThis is quite cool, and according to the story is already installed somewhere in London, so may slowly percolate through to the rest of the UK at some time. The basic problem is lots of drunken men, in the nights, who need to relieve themselves and don’t really care where they do so. Which is why these public urinals, and they’re very public, spend the day beneath the street, but spend the night above ground and ready for action. I really like the idea, and would like to see it in Swansea -I can even think of some places where it would work very well.
