Removable SATA drives for not a lot of money November 10, 2006

Now here’s a very nifty idea, that doesn’t cost the Earth. Fit the enclosure into a 5 1/4″ drive bay on the front of your PC. Plug in a SATA drive and wait while Windows discovers it, then use it. You can unplug or swap drives with ease, which should make for very easy backing up of your PC, and for an easily portable storage device that can hold a lot of data. For the money I will definitely add one of these to the next PC I build. I may even order one now for my current PC.
