Why the Chinese didn’t like Japan September 29, 2006
Posted by Al in : people, politics , trackbackRecently relations between China and Japan have not been that good, mainly because the previous Japanese PM decided he would visit the Yasakuni Shrine to honour the dead from Japan’s previous battles. Now there probably wouldn’t have been a problem with honouring those who fought for their country, after all China understands duty as well as Japan. However there were 14 people venerated at the Yasakuni Shrine who it was probably not that wise to give any honour to. 2 of them you can find out more about in this article, and the other thirteen were not much better either. More information available here and here.
