A good guide on silent PCs September 21, 2006
Posted by Al in : computers,PC , trackbackRecently I’ve been noticing quite how loud my PC is, and although it’s not incredibly loud it is noticeable at all times when it’s on. To be fair I do have quite a lot on the inside of the case, and a 600W power supply doesn’t help either, but even so I’m thinking that when this PC needs replacing I’m going to build silent PC. So this basic guide has a lot of relevant information, although not much is said about BTX form factors. I would dearly love the Zalman “Totally no noise” case, but I’m pretty certain it’s not a cheap option.
