But if you haven’t got a diode handy you can just use a razor blade and a safety pin. Sounds unbelievable but here are the instructions on how to do it. This is one of those articles you should print off and put in your survival manual (if you’re the type of person who has a survival manual), because if the world goes all wrong then the Internet will likely disappear, but knowing how to make a radio could save your life.
