Leonard Nimoy sings the anthem of Bilbo Baggins August 28, 2006

The Sixties were responsible for a large amount of weirdness, and probably for the sorry state of Western society today. I can probably forgive the Sixties for that, bit I’m not sure I can forgive them for a song such as this. Why do the dancers (who are quite scary) have Spock’s ears? Why are they fighting and dying behind the rock at the end of the song? Who wrote this drivel? Anyway – watch and enjoy.

I was digging through the archives and came across this and I just hope you have forgiven Leonard by now. Admittedly the quality is rather poor (especially the sound) but I love this stuff and always will. The musical works of Leonard NImoy and William Shatner are very important me. Admittedly, Nimoy does not come near to reaching the inexplicable lunatic genius of Shatner but he can sing.
Anyway, I applaud you for sharing this Al.
