Microsoft’s new Blog editor August 14, 2006
Posted by Al in : software, utility, website , trackbackThis post is published using Microsoft’s new Blog editor, and it is very impressive indeed. It is designed to be used for your Windows Live blog, however it works with Typepad, Moveable Type, Blogger.com and of course WordPress which I’m using. Not only is it easy to set up for your blog but it does something very simple but neat – it picks up the CSS from your blog and then presents your editor window using that CSS so you can see just what your post will look like. I don’t know why no-one else has thought of this as it really does work well.
All in all I found this very easy to set up and to use immediately. I like the way it picks up the CSS from your blog, and the way you can save drafts to your blog rather than keeping them on your PC, and the full length Category list is quite useful as well (shame it’s not alphabetically sorted though). If you’re interested then read a good review here and you can download the tool itself from here.
