System access on XP from a user account August 8, 2006
Posted by Al in : clever,computers,hack,PC,tutorial , trackbackThis is an amazingly large loophole in XP security. It is so easy to give yourself full access from any user account that has access to the command prompt, and it only takes 2 minutes and 3 steps. Watch and learn or just read on.
- Open a command prompt and enter the following ‘at xx:xx /intreactive “cmd.exe”‘ – where xx:xx is a time to run this command, set it to the next minute;
- At the time you specified a new command prompt will appear. Close the old command prompt and then run Task Manager. Use it to end-task “explorer.exe” which will kill the task bar;
- In the new command prompt enter “explorer.exe” and press Enter. Congratulations you are now running as System.
