Land Warrior system is not popular April 20, 2007
Posted by Al in : fighting, invention , trackbackThe US have been pushing for all their troops to be networked together. The land Warrior system is the last piece of the puzzle, providing full network interaction for frontline troops. The only trouble is that it is slow, buggy, and doesn’t make the troops happy. With it’s funding cut, as military costs spiral ever upward, the last chance for the current Land Warrior system is to be of use in Iraq, and so it is currently heading out there to do battle. The troops who have to use it are not happy, and the entire system could be ended in a matter of months. In the meantime, the Land Warrior system is currently the most advanced combat equipment in the world.
