Compressed air the fuel of the future? March 21, 2007
Posted by Al in : clever, invention, motoring, transport , trackbackIf these figures are to be believed, 1 Euro for 100Km, then compressed air may well be the way to go. Not only is it cheap but there’s absolutely no pollution and the exhaust gas is cool enough to work the air conditioning at no extra cost. You will still need a battery, and I haven’t seen enough details to know whether the Compressed Air Technology engine can power a decent alternator, but an occasional recharged and virtually free running costs would be alright by me. Have a look for yourself here.
