Here’s a site with lots of photographs that require you to pay attnetion to the background. Some are obvious, but some need some good attention to see why these photo’s are worth a look.

The UK is becoming more of a Big Brother state each year. This video points out that it is perfectly legal to film or photograph anywhere in a public place, but the police don’t seem to know this. I do hope that the police officer in this video has been educated on the law and has also had a lesson in manners.

This is a horrifying photo: a drunken idiot ploughs straight through a cycle race, killing one competitor and severely injuring 3 more. There are no excuses, EVER, for drunk driving – it implies a complete disregard for the law and for the safety of others; it is something that is only done by people who are too arrogant to care, or too stupid to think. You always know you have your car, you always know you are intending to drive, and so you should always refrain from getting drunk. If you can’t do that, maybe because you are once again too stupid, then you can always leave your car and use public transport. There are no excuses.

A wonderful collection of photographs

This page contains an amazing and wonderful collection of photographs, mostly from Europe, and a lot based around the Second World War, but with a lot of variety as well. All these photographs are worth a look, and some are quite captivating. I’d hesitate to pick out any for particular attention, but the Nazi rally is disturbing for how many people were completely enthralled by Hitler, and the very strange family photograph kept me coming back trying to work out exactly what was going on, genetically, in that family. Have a look yourself, and see which pictures grab your imagination and attention.

25 photographs take at just the right moment

What more can I say? The title says it all. These photographs were all taken at just the right moment to capture perfectly the sense of what is about to occur – which is pain, in most cases. The comments tend to suggest that 2 or 3 are faked, but I don’t really care as they all work really well. Definitely worth a look.

Pretty HQ photos of Japan

These pictures are very nice, and although there aren’t many, they are still worth a look. I’d like to visit Japan at some point, and I’d like a chance to visit some of the quieter and more out of the way places, although I’d still visit Tokyo (in particular Akihabara). One photo that swayed me in this collection was the picture of Himeji Castle – which is a place I’d really like to visit, just to see how well designed the fortifications are, as well as how beautiful the castle and it’s location is.

Reasons not to do drugs

You don’t have to read Russian to follow this story – just look at the pictures. There are many reasons not to do drugs, such as Heroin, and this guy’s life clearly shows you why you should not do drugs. From cannabis to heroin, mushrooms to LSD, or whiz to coke – drugs really don’t do you any favours, and are likely to cause you problems. Just sit back, take stock of your life, and realise that just being alive is enough. Don’t end up like this guy.
