Loss of bees could affect America’s food supply May 4, 2007

You’d never believe that losing a 20% of the bee population could mean anything more than an increase in the price of honey. However, bees are used to pollinate so many crops that this large drop in bee populations may mean a loss of many crops. As the cause of this sudden collapse of bee colonies is still unknown, I’m surprised nobody has suggested this might be a terrorist attack on the USA. It would be a rather clever, and subtle method of weakening the USA, both economically and physically.
