The Airbus A380 finally crosses the Atlantic March 21, 2007

Finally A380’s are beginning to take to the air, and 2 have been sent across the Atlantic to try to tempt the US carriers into buying one. So far all the orders for A380’s have been in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East – not one single US carrier has even declared an interest. Possibly because most US carriers concentrate on their domestic market, and possibly because they tend to stay loyal to Boeing. I rather fancy a trip on one of these A380’s when they finally get into service – I would really like to try out one of the VirginAtlantic ones with a bar and casino upstairs. Now that would be really cool!
