Linutop – a small, silent PC March 14, 2007

You can’t get a functioning PC much smaller than this one. The Linutop PC is completely fanless, and also has no HDD to make any noise either – instead it uses USB memory sticks to carry it’s OS and to provide it’s storage. It comes with a 1GB stick containg XUbuntu set up ready to browse the web, although you can install any app you like, just don’t expect too much out of such a low spec PC. It might be very useful though ajust for it’s complete silence, small form factor and low power consumption – ideal for a car PC for example.
