Invasion of the giant red crabs November 16, 2006

This is one invasion that doesn’t seem so frightening to me. Admittedly the crabs are playing havoc with the current ecosystem, however they are large, easy to catch and good eating. So as the fish stock diminishes rapidly, another food source is becoming available. I’m certain that if fished as hard as herring has been then the crabs would be controlled and would provide easy pickings for the crabbers. If a viable food source, and possible profit making resource, invades your territory then you should not complain – you should seize the opportunity and make use of this invasion before something happens to drive the crabs away.

Awesome, I’d love to go out there hunting these nasty little buggers for my tea!
