Fight Science – analysing martial arts November 14, 2006

This is a neat video from National Geographic, as part of their series they have run before on the science of fighting. In this video 2 brothers who train hard on “hard body training”, and spend their free time breaking bricks, show off their powers using accelerometers to measure their power. Would you be surprised to see a human elbow can generate 3 times the power of a sledgehammer? Or that one fist can easily crack a coconut open?
