The end of the oldest firm in the world October 23, 2006
Posted by Al in : interesting, people, weird , trackbackIt’s a shame, but the oldest business firm in the world has finally decided it can no longer function as an individual business and is allowing itself to be subsumed by a large corporation in January. Kungo Guni has operated as a family business for 1,400 years in Japan, but will be handing over it’s operations in the new year and so ending a long run of family history. It’s quite sad really.
